Update on COVID Credit Refunds

Dear Clients,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing due to the delay in your COVID credit refund. We understand how frustrating it is to wait longer than expected, and we truly appreciate your concern.

Please know that we have been actively communicating with the IRS, both over the phone and in person, to help expedite your refund. Unfortunately, due to factors beyond our control—such as high demand and complex administrative procedures—some refunds are taking longer than usual to be processed.

The previously estimated date for your refund is no longer valid, and we’ve been informed that the process will take more time than originally anticipated. We want to reassure you that we’re doing everything we can to speed things up.

To assist in this process, we have submitted Forms 8821 and 2848 requesting authorization to act on your behalf. If you’ve already signed and returned them, please disregard this message. If not, we kindly ask that you complete and return the forms to our office or send them via fax (678) 661-7800

.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep your contact information up to date so we can notify you as soon as your refund is released.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

Your RCC Family.
